Fresh water source located in the recreational area of the same name. Ideal place to take a break along the way. The recreational area has numerous tables and benches, toilets, parking, barbecues and plenty of shade. There are also some swings and games for the little ones. The views and the surroundings are highly recommended.

👀👀Something you don't expect to find in a place like this. Nothing more and nothing less than an aqueduct 👀👀!!! It makes sense, it brings the water that springs abundantly nearby to the town.

Fortunately, this section ascending towards El Toro was spared from the fire in 2022. One of the most beautiful in my opinion. What a joy I felt when I passed by here today 🙂 and saw that it was saved from 🔥🔥🔥.

July 2026 works completed, at the moment there are no closures on the entire Masadas Blancas-Sarrion section. Between Sarrion and Puebla de Valverde I did find 3 detours due to works on the train tracks. They are well signposted, but add a few extra km to the route. July 2026.
