The Voltone di San Pietro or Porta di San Pietro was one of the three ancient gates of Mantua until the end of the 13th century, which, inserted into the first ring of city walls, closed access to Piazza San Pietro (today Piazza Sordello), the center of the civitas vetus of Mantua. https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Voltone_di_San_Pietro

The Torre dell'Orologio was added to the Palazzo della Ragione in 1472. It features an excellent moon clock with the signs of the zodiac and the average solar time. Its realization was entrusted to Bartolomeo di Manfredi and it is one of the first clocks to be mechanically operated. The statue of the Immaculate Virgin under the dial was only added in 1639. A ticket (3€) gives access to the interior of the Torre dell’Orologio, which houses a museum of time. The floors display various old objects relating to the theme, including the mechanism of the outdoor clock. The visit becomes more interesting and justifies the price once you reach the top of the tower. Four windows each offer a stunning panoramic view of the city. https://www.patrimoine-horloge.fr/as-mantoue.html
