The church building is a flat-roofed hall church in the Romanesque Revival style, built between 1841 and 1843 according to designs by the architect August von Voit. It features a west tower with an entrance portal. The exterior of the church is adorned with corner pilasters and round-arched friezes. The eastern part of the church dates from an extension carried out between 1936 and 1938 according to plans by the architects Boßlet and Lochner. Inside, there are approximately 680 seats, of which about 600 are in the nave and 80 in the gallery. The three bells in the church tower were cast by the Hamm foundry in Frankenthal.
