There are many good flowing double tracks in this area. The land is hilly so many areas mean climbing. The surfaces are compact and good to ride on. There are always dog walkers and hikers in this area

Easy location to start a trail from, this is a parking zone just off the main road. There are gates that open into the forest land. Many trails and bikes can be seen using this area. There is a good mix of single tracks on natural land, double tracks on natural compact land and some older tarmac within these woods. The land is a bit hilly and some climbing is needed to get around

Always beautiful to look at. I was involved in the construction of the chariot grave and the Roman pavilions. My wife sewed the clothes for the doll in the chariot. You can see that time has left its mark there too. It's just a shame that the burial mounds are completely overgrown.
