Nettesürsch is the smallest district in Polch. The Margareta mine is a slate mine. Like the Katzenberg mine in Mayen, it is operated by the Rathscheck company. The Margareta and Katzenberg slate mines are the only active mines in the entire Eifel region that still produce roofing slate. The Katzenberg mine closed in 2019, leaving only the slate mine in Nettesürsch. A small playground is located directly next to the former railway line.
