This is where the Swiss stone pine, which gives the Zirbelkieferschneise its name, is supposed to be. It was supposed to have been here at least in 1993. Unfortunately, I haven't found it.

When the weather was clear, the panoramic view of Frankfurt offered a fantastic view. I could see the entire Frankfurt skyline and the surrounding area. The city's skyscrapers stood out, while the rolling hills of the Taunus were in the background. A real treat during the hike.
