The Knöpfelsteiche are located east of the Drachenschlucht, directly on the hiking trail towards Elfengrotte. In total, four small ponds await you here, some of which – depending on the season – are almost completely covered by aquatic plants. Tip: Here at the upper pond, there is a beautiful covered bench – ideal for a short break or a picnic. With a bit of luck, you can observe ducks or even fish, including carp that have been spotted before. Note: Please do not feed the animals. Food scraps can disturb the ecological balance of the ponds, pollute the water, and harm the animals.

Although it rained during the night and the log was still wet, it didn't stop me from sitting down 😅😏
