A lovely route, also suitable for walking. It's also good for older people, as the paths always lead back parallel to each other. I particularly like the small side paths leading down to the Ilmenau river.

The Chamber of Commerce building is a real gem. This decorative double-gabled house catches your eye from afar. In my opinion, it is one of the most beautiful and impressive buildings in Lüneburg. The building was originally a brewery. Aside from the magnificent double gables and the dark grey bricks, the clay medallions also catch the eye.

On the edge of Lüneburg's main square on Sande are the St. Johannis Church and the magnificent building of today's Chamber of Commerce and Industry. We can recommend Mälzer Brauhaus because of the delicious food and beers 👍
