Fantastically beautiful. Bicycle tour from Stade via Apensen back to Stade through the lower Estetal. So much beautiful nature and the cycle paths are also manageable, now and then it gets a bit uneven but it's doable. A short section runs directly along the road. Great places to take a break are available along the route. E.g. at the fishing lake of Horneburg in the lower Estetal. There the place is dedicated to the North German poet: Johann D. Bellmann *08.05.1930 - 25.06.2006

The Moisburg Amtshaus, first mentioned in 1322, is a beautiful sight, and the surrounding area also offers beautiful views. Together with the watermill opposite, it's a lovely cycling destination.

The baroque hall church was built around 1700 from fieldstone and brick. The nave is pentagonal in the east. In the west there is a wooden bell tower, which was built in 1662 and is covered with an eight-sided, slate-covered, pointed helmet. The walls of the nave, which has a gable roof, are supported by buttresses.

In Hollenstedt, which is more than a thousand years old, the almost equally old St. Andrew's Church with its wooden bell tower is a special sight. https://www.hollenstedt.de/portal/seiten/gemeinde-hollenstedt-6000037-20140.html

Nice pond with lots of geese (now in September at least) and waterfront seating.
