Autumn is the best time to discover the most fantastic figures and shapes in the trees of the primeval forest. Of course, it's always captivating. I hope that visitors will treat nature's treasures with respect.

There are currently no wild boars in the zoo. Northern Hesse is located on the edge of the African swine fever risk area. As a precaution, the wild boars have therefore been removed for the time being. An outbreak of ASF would otherwise force the park to close.
