In the 'De Boskoel' adventure playground, children aged three to sixteen can experience wonderful adventures. Playing freely in the sand, swinging from tree to tree, and building huts. The adventure playground is a “natural playground” without swings or slides, where children can play in and with nature. This adventure forest is located about 500 meters from the Visitor Centre and Bosbrasserie In de Sluis, along the hiking trail and hidden in the surrounding vegetation around the Reindersmeer. The adventure playground is also a unique location for school classes and children's parties and is of course freely accessible. The Groeningse Bergen were formed at the end of the ice age. Drifting sand ended up in the vegetated area and formed various hills. Do you still see the bumps in the landscape?

The Reindersmeer forms an important natural link between the Bergerheide and De Hamert in Wellerlooi. The lake covers 130 hectares. Its shores are covered with heather, grasses, and other plants. In between are pools and fens with large drifting sand areas. The distinctive drifting dunes, for which the area is named, are clearly visible in the landscape.

The bridge over the Reindersmeer offers the opportunity to shorten a walk, but it is also a fantastic viewpoint.

The Reindersmeer is a vulnerable nature reserve with rare plants and animals. That is why you are not allowed to go off the paths, recreate on the banks or swim in the lake. Dogs must be kept on a leash; they like to explore and can unintentionally disturb nature. (Well aan de Maas)
