Additional information: This is probably the former entrance to the spa park. "At the transition from the spa park to the Tiergarten, two neo-Baroque gate pillars from the 19th century still stand at the Angelwiese." Source: https://www.lwl.org/geodatenkultur/objekt/253096

This beautiful path along the Sandbach runs almost around the entire Wolbeck zoo. It's worth trying out. Be careful with the wet leaves and the many roots. Otherwise the path is easy to walk.

Hidden in the Wolbecker Tiergarten is the Prince-Bishop's Hunting Lodge. It was planned by Gottfried Laurenz Pictorius and built in 1712.

After rain and muddy weather, the main path is good, otherwise rubber boots 🤷🏻♀️!
