The Siegertplatz is located directly on the Zeuthener See and marks the end of the old village center. It is named after the Kossäten family „Siegert“, who rendered services to the municipality of Zeuthen and, among other things, made this square available to the municipality for public purposes. At the Siegertplatz, the Selchower Flutgraben flows into the Zeuthener See, and the view opens up over numerous jetties of various sailing clubs to the Schmöckwitzer Bridge. Here, parents with children will find a wonderful playground. The newly designed waterfront invites you to linger. Water hikers can dock directly at the jetty and start their explorations through Zeuthen. https://www.zeuthen.de/Siegertplatz-620125.html

An island now rises from the flooded clay pit. The generator stood there when the clay pit was still active. The extracted clay was taken to Zeuthen train station and transported from there onward.

In the 1930s, a public bathing facility was established at the site of a former clay pit. To this day, the open-air pool remains a popular meeting place for swimmers and bathers. A sunbathing lawn, a children's playground, a volleyball court, and table tennis tables round out the amenities. A viewing platform is located by the water. Bicycle parking is available directly in front of the facility. An ice cream parlor is just a few meters away. Source: Brandenburg Tourism

The parish church, built in 1865/66 on the village green in the old village of Schulzendorf, was saved from ruin thanks to the initiative of the Association for the Restoration of the Parish Church and Village Green and the municipality of Schulzendorf. It has become a cultural venue with a unique atmosphere. Cultural events have been held there since 2005. Source: Brandenburg Tourism

The church in Waltersdorf is a beautiful, four-part fieldstone church dating from the 13th century, with a transept in the west. Its walls, constructed of fieldstones, are up to 1.65 meters thick. Still surrounded by the old (now abandoned) cemetery, it stands at a crossroads marking the old village center. The well-jointed ashlar masonry and the four-part structure are entirely in keeping with the Romanesque style, although only a few remnants of its characteristic details remain. Apart from a late Gothic carved altarpiece and a Baroque baptismal font, everything inside has been restored, a testament to the damage caused by war. Source: Brandenburg Travel Guide
