The white round steel tower with gallery and red lantern with a tapered dome stands on the western pier of Ueckermünde, on the Szczecin Lagoon. The tower has a diameter of two meters and is decorated with the coat of arms of Ueckermünde on the east side. It is the easternmost German lighthouse. The current lighthouse was built by the company VNT Stahlbau GmbH in Abtshagen and erected on December 13/14, 2000.
