The Schollen Church was built between 1846 and 1848 as the patronage church of the Lords of Hagen-Hohennauen. After the previous building burned down in the great fire of 1844, a new neo-Gothic church was built on the old foundations.

After the previous building was cremated in the great fire in 1844, a new church in neo-Gothic style was built on the old foundations. It was built on the foundations of a previous building that burned down in 1844, although the first church is mentioned as early as the 13th century. The structure, which is extraordinarily large for a village church, has an organ with a neo-Gothic prospect inside. There are also two valuable pictures of the painter Rosa Petzel, who was successful during her lifetime (among others in the service of Otto von Bismarck); a portrait of her father Friedrich Wilhelm Petzel and Jesus carrying the cross.
