The Teterow Pike Fountain is an ornamental fountain erected in 1914 on the market square in Teterow and a popular landmark of the town. Designed by the sculptor Wilhelm Wandschneider, it commemorates the legend of the "great-great-grandfather." The pike legend tells of a particularly large pike that the people of Teterow caught in the lake. It was as big as a grown man's leg. To keep the pike fresh, a bell was tied around its neck and it was thrown back into the water. The bell was supposed to indicate the pike's location. However, this didn't work, and the pike was eventually carved in stone and placed on the market square. The traditional Pike Festival takes place annually in Teterow on the weekend before Pentecost. The highlight is the performance of the Schildbürgerstreiche (Schildbürgerstreiche) by Teterow amateur artists.

Remplin Castle The castle grounds had been owned by the Count von Hahn family since 1405. The actual castle consisted of an older Renaissance building, which was redesigned in the middle of the 18th century with two side extensions to create a three-winged Baroque complex. The oldest part of the church is the early Gothic choir built in 1280. The second building of the Rostock Marienkirche, erected between 1265 and 1279, is regarded as a direct model. The choir gable has a group of three windows, as is not uncommon in early Gothic brick (and also fieldstone) churches southwards to the Mark Brandenburg and westwards to the province of Groningen. The side walls each have two slender pointed arch windows. The two choir bays are heavily busted ribbed vaults based on the Westphalian model. 200 years passed between the laying of the foundation stone in 1215 and the completion of the church - the reason for two different architectural styles (late Romanesque and Baroque.
