The two most recent dates mentioned by @JR56 and @DULMI, which are strikingly similar, cannot be correct. Firstly, the station would not have been built and closed in the same year, and secondly, my records from over 45 years of vacationing in the Jammerbugt region show that the public museum in the former sea rescue station was established later. @JR56's source [https://www.visitnordvestkysten.de/nordvestkysten/planen/lokken-rettungsstation-gdk735176] refers to a 'museum' from 1992 onwards, but presumably means that the building was not demolished but maintained as a "place of remembrance," as the following source suggests: https://www.daenemark.guide/sehenswuerdigkeit/rettungsstation-lokken/ I suspect that the official opening of the sea rescue cutter and the rest of the museum's interior exhibition only became possible in 2021.

On August 11, 1877, a severe storm struck Lønstrup. The torrential rains cut a rift through the dune in the middle of the village, the Bækslugten rift, which is still clearly visible today. After a cloudburst, houses, sand, and earth were swept away by the floodwaters. See also: www.visitnordvestkysten.de/nordvestkysten/planen/baekslugten-gdk595207
