Great place to rest and enjoy a drink. Did not work however on Sunday in January though it says open.

Starting from Borinka near the church, Ballenstein Castle can be easily reached in about half an hour with a few meters in altitude. The climb is worth it. The ruin is completely accessible and you have a great view from there.

A super cute and cozy family run vinotheque. The wine was very tasty and cheap and the mixed platter with sausage and cheese is also highly recommended. You can sit both outside and inside.

Parking places in front of church and kindergarden are very limited. There was a sign pointing to different parking lot, but the sign itself was not very good visible. You can hardly see it from the car, but it is right behind the church. So might be better option than to search for parking anywhere else in the village of Borinka.

Pajštún Castle is a ruined medieval castle. It is located on the western edge of the Little Carpathians. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Paj%C5%A1t%C3%BAn_Castle Very nice place with awesome view. During nice sunny weather you can see even Devin TV tower in Bratislava. Took us only 50 min from Borinka.
