Very nice cafe right between Gränsp Castle and the newer hotel complex.

The castle was built in 1807, largely of wood. It remained privately owned until 1969, when it became the property of the city. However, it fell into increasing disrepair until it was renovated in 1993, when it was largely destroyed in a fire. A restoration followed and it reopened in 1994. Today, the castle is a popular tourist destination with restaurants, a boat dock, concerts, and exhibitions. It has since been expanded to include a hotel and spa.

Not only this rock, but the entire stretch of coast here is worth a visit. Here, you can walk to your heart's content over the rock formations right on the shore and enjoy the view.

In the grove on this peninsula stands this old split oak. A very impressive tree.

It's a short hop across the bridge to pass between the two islands. You can stop off for a break here at the picnic table.

Here you can go through the forest to the other side of the island and take a nice walk. Hiking trails are well marked.
