Another of Bräunlingen's well-preserved medieval town gates. The round tower and fortified arch are typical of the region's historic defenses — a satisfying landmark to ride through.

The Kirnbergsee is a pleasant small lake on the Baar plateau near Lenzkirch. A calm and scenic spot as the route transitions from forest to open countryside heading toward Donaueschingen.

Another lovely vantage point over the Kirnbergsee. The lake sits quietly in the open farmland between Feldberg and the Baar plateau — a calm spot on the final stretch toward Donaueschingen.

The gravel surface of the Bähnleradweg, which is mentioned in the first post from 2019, is no longer applicable, it is now asphalted all the way. The Bähnle-Radweg mostly follows the route of the disused Lenzkirch - Bonndorf railway line. As a result, there are only slight inclines along the entire route.

The road will be closed for eight months starting August 11, 2025. From Göschweiler, you can still reach Wutachmühle, but the southern approach is closed until the bend at the turnoff to Boll.

A nice climb, over 200 meters in elevation but with a gentle gradient of mostly under 5%. The road is currently closed. We were able to portage around the construction site. I don't know what the situation is during the week when work is being carried out there.
