The hardest part was pedaling on lyrebird ridge road. The return trip was fun

Nice view on Gold Coast

The climb from Polly's Kitchen/Little Nerang Creek up to the bus stop at Springbrook is an easy grade - 4% - and has some beautiful scenery with two wooden bridges and many switchbacks. After the bus stop most turn around, but you can continue on to Wunburra Lookout through a divided road section at a steeper grade for a beautiful view of the coast.
