The Schmida has given the entire valley its name. It's not large. That's exactly what makes this section so pleasant. A flat path, a stream next to it, and a landscape that opens up more and more to the south until the valley merges into the plain at the Wagram.

Beautiful wooden bridge over which cycle path no. 84 leads, possibly this is the Heldenberg cycle path.

Privately owned and therefore can only be viewed from the outside. In 1884 the property passed to the Fichtl family, who still own the property today. More on the history: http://noeburgen.imareal.sbg.ac.at/result/burgid/2448

We recommend the guided tour of the Lipizzaners and the bird show. Unfortunately, some areas on the grounds of the Heldenberg appear neglected (district ditch, Lipizzaner playground) or are carelessly designed (the Lipizzaner adventure trail for children consists exclusively of display boards with lots of text. The name adventure trail arouses false expectations here).
