The church of St. Jacobi is the second of the three large churches in the Hanseatic city of Stendal. It is the "pilgrim church" of Stendal. Events are held regularly in the church and it is an open church (note the opening times). You can also visit the church from home: https://pano.erlebnisland.de/player/v3/?panodir=stendal/jacobi/_art

The Uenglinger Gate (as it is correctly called) is, alongside the Holsten Gate, one of the most impressive city gates of the North German brick Gothic style. The gate can be visited from May to September: Tuesday-Friday: 1 p.m. to 3 p.m., Saturday & Sunday: 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. and 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Admission costs €2. Why they had to make a second highlight here is a mystery to me!
