I would only recommend the descent to mountain bikers. The trail is completely rocky, with some fairly steep sections. You should also have some riding technique. Lowering the saddle makes the descent much easier, but be careful in wet conditions.

Harald Schramm's tip (shocker) isn't entirely accurate. The link leads to the Berggasthof Hocheck near Oberaudorf. It's about 15 km away as the crow flies and has absolutely nothing to do with this inn.

We took a small detour, the path from the church takes about 45 minutes. After all, we wanted to treat ourselves at the inn. You can eat very well and deliciously at the Gasthof Schwarzlack. Two people can always find a spot. Reserve in advance if necessary.
