The Heldenallee in Ebersberg is a memorial for those who died in World War I from the Upper Bavarian town. It is located between the Klostersee and the observation tower on the Ludwigshöhe. After the First World War, Ebersberg suffered 84 casualties. Between 1929 and 1937, a linden tree was planted north of the city on the way to the Ludwigshöhe to commemorate each dead person.
