Haag Castle or Haag Castle has been beautifully renovated and the striking keep with its four corner towers is visible from afar. The history of the castle goes back a long way, up to 10 centuries. Around 936 at the time of the Hungarian invasions, a fortification was already built for the Lords of Haag. The core castle was built in the 12th century. The mighty keep stands alone, without palas and extensions at the highest point and is surrounded by a ring wall with a relatively large distance. This happened in the Napoleonic period. Around 1804 the castle was dismantled piece by piece. In 2004 the castle tower was closed due to dilapidation. The glamorous reopening took place in July 2016. The entire complex with the baroque stems is now in very good condition and well worth seeing.
