Church built by the Order of the Blessed Virgin Mary (Teutonic Order) around 1349 The framework of the church - part of the presbytery - dates back to this time. Expanded in the first half 17th century. The nave was added around 1680, and then a side chapel. Hall type church, single-nave. The structure of the church was influenced by its affiliation with the Evangelical-Augsburg denomination. From 1563 - an Evangelical-Augsburg parish. Approx. 1582 - visit of Bishop Rozrażewski and an unsuccessful attempt to retake the temple from the Protestants. The bishop had to flee from local Protestants. The church and parish remained in Protestant hands until the end of World War II. Since 1947 they have been Catholic again.
