The Za Lužánkami Stadium was built between 1949 and 1953 and could accommodate up to 50,000 spectators. It was the largest Czech stadium in regular league play. In 2001, Zbrojovka Brno moved to the Městský fotbalový stadion Srbská, which was renovated and located about four kilometers away. After that, the sports facility was closed. There were several plans for renovation afterwards, but they all failed for political or financial reasons. For example, an application for the 2020 European Football Championship was planned. The design had been available since 2008, but the city could not finance the project. After the renovation, it would have had space for 30,000 visitors, which would have been sufficient to host the European Championship matches. The costs were between CZK 1.6 to 2.2 billion (EUR 63 to 87 million). The Czech Football Association Fotbalová asociace České republiky (FAČR) would have supported the project financially, but the city did not hold any talks with the FAČR.[3] Two years later, a reduced version of the original design was presented. The number of seats was reduced from 30,000 to about 22,000. The costs were estimated at CZK 500 million (EUR 18.5 million). Details about the stadium and the implementation of the project were to be published in September 2015. Construction could have started at the beginning of 2016.[4]

Býčí skála together with Rudický propadání forms the second longest cave system in the Czech Republic. The total length of the whole system exceeds 15 km. The entrance to the cave is located in the valley of the Křtinský brook. The cave has been used since ancient times. Remains of a settlement from the Paleolithic period were found here. From the Iron Age, many objects were found here, as well as the Hallstatt burial ground with more than 40 skeletons. In 1869, a bronze statuette of a bull was found, after which the cave got its name. Admission: occasional
