I always ride my Regensburg tour over the tip of the Donaukanal/Regen on the cycle path facing the Regen up to Regenstauf, thereby going under two busy main roads. This saves a lot of traffic jams and traffic on the traffic routes located above.

A playground that really has it all: river with clay area, many climbing and balancing stations, Frisbee Golf with course offerings, beach volleyball court, large parking lot, seating and cleanliness throughout the grounds. Our children had the most fun in the river. There they could play with clay and even build a princess castle. Through the shallow water, you can wonderfully walk with the children, it's a real little adventure. The playground is built very versatile. There are many opportunities for climbing, running and balancing. Everything is designed so that you can keep the children in sight from almost everywhere. We would especially like to highlight the Frisbee Golf. We have never seen anything like it before. Even courses with a trainer are offered here, which makes the place even more unique.

The former railway line in Wenzenbach is part of the former secondary line Regensburg–Falkenstein (also known as „Falkensteiner Bockerl“). Passenger traffic on the line was discontinued in 1984, and the entire operation ended in 1985. Today, the largely gradient-free route has been developed into a popular cycle path.
