The one-story brick building with baroque features was built in 1765 as the town hall of the Noble Municipality of Turopolje. It has a rectangular floor plan with an arcaded porch in the ground-floor zone of the western facade and a smaller addition from the 19th century. The rooms are vaulted, and the upstairs is decorated with pike and oslik.

The educational hiking trail Šumarica, about 9 kilometers long, connects the settlements of Krušak and Kozjača. The road takes you through the forest, forest slopes and cuts, along the stream Curek and across the stream Kozara, then past meadows, vineyards and cellars, along the village yards and houses Žitkovčica to the lookout Lakovica near Kozjača. You will pass through a part of the gentle landscape of Vukomeričke gorice with gentle hills and stream valleys away from the city noise. Hiking, regardless of the season, will best immerse you in the calm atmosphere of this area, a little tired body, but rest the spirit. On the trail you can read information about the history of Vukomeričke gorice, population, wooden construction, flora and fauna. If you want to spend a day without a car, the Šumarica trail is an ideal place for that, because the villages of Krušak and Kozjača are connected to Velika Gorica by a regular bus line. On Sunday at 9.00 am, take a bus to Krušak, and from Kozjača you will find a bus to Velika Gorica at 1.40 pm. The trail is marked in both directions, so you can choose the place of departure.
