Downhill Trail to Uvala Malagata Bay

Highlight (Segment) • Trail

Ingenious DH trail to the bay with dense vegetation and sometimes a bit blocked and only to be driven on a single line. Here it is advisable to ride a MTB.
Uphill the whole thing is one more number, you have to want to :)

Tortuga Beach Bar

Highlight • Cafe

Nice bar in a nice bay. The bar is the only one on the Lungomare, so it's a great way to recharge your batteries. Unfortunately, it has already happened to me that it was closed.

Liznjan Beach

Highlight • Beach

Small sandy beach with several beach bars, children's fun and sports facilities. Loan of loungers and umbrellas. What is missing is the feeling of swimming in the sea, as the bathing area is located in a quiet and sheltered bay.

Scenic Coastal Trail

Highlight (Segment) • Trail

Yes, the trail is very beautiful. But when it has rained, there are sometimes large puddles - knee-deep or even deeper and across the entire width of the path - that you can't get around because the undergrowth on the side of the path is impenetrable.
The answer is "just ride your bike straight through the mud puddle".
The puddles are also "maintained" by the guided quad tours, i.e. the quad riders ensure that the puddle holes do not disappear, but are constantly widened.

This is a great place to see how pointlessly EU subsidies are used: a monstrous rest area in the middle of nowhere. The "highlights" are a solar-powered warning sign for a pedestrian crossing where no pedestrians walk at all, a retractable USB charging station in a Corten steel bench or an oversized, solid, 10 cm thick stone table top...

Laznjan Coastal and Nature Trail

Highlight (Segment) • Trail

For nature lovers an experience to go here! The track is expandable. Even in the rain, this section was beautiful and I could discover a variety of plants. Fig trees are always to be found. In many places you can rest or go swimming. There are also sections where children can play safely on the water. The beach is passable by cars, higher vehicles than 2.30 meters are prevented by a height limit at the entrance. During our visit, we were often alone for a long time, only in the port of Laznjan many people were traveling. Nice was the section inland, where it went up to the quarry. There are beautiful viewpoints!

In Laznjan on the beach there is a restaurant and also in town you can maybe buy something, but otherwise I would take food, especially drinking water!

Cape Marlera Lighthouse The easternmost part of the Marlera peninsula, located in the south, is approximately 6 km from Ližnjan-Lisignano and is called Punta Grkova. The name dates back to the settlement of Greeks from Cyprus in the 16th century. A lighthouse was built on the cape between 1865 and 1880, 25 m offshore, which the residents of Ližnjan-Lisignano named 'Lanterna'. The Marlera lighthouse was built in the immediate vicinity of several islets and rocks to ensure the safety of navigation due to the strong currents and strong winds in winter. The lighthouse was continuously inhabited from its construction until 1970.

Levane Sand Island. A boat departs here several times a day to bring guests to and from the island. The part of the sand island facing the mainland consists of a sandy beach with fine sand, both on land and in the water. The island is not far from the mainland.
