If you find the path from Gažul too long or whatever but don't want to go to the Vidova Gora peak by car, then this is a great spot to park your car, only 40 minutes by foot from the peak! And it's a beautiful trail, too!

A worthwhile detour on a round trip. The view of Hvar and the Golden Horn makes a good place to stop for a break.

I walked up the hiking trail on my mountain bike - not recommended, I was pushing the bike the whole time. I would go back with a set of episode 4 files and the skills of Danny Mac Askill.... There is a kiosk at the top and a wonderful view.

Vidova gora, at 2552 feet (778 m), is both the highest point on the island of Brač and the highest peak on all of the Adriatic Sea's islands. Unsurprisingly, this makes it a much sought-after objective and a magnificent viewpoint. The oft-photographed Zlatni Rat beach can be seen far below, while Hvar stretches out on the glistening sea to the south.
