The castle was built in the middle of the 14th century on a small hill surrounded on three sides by the river Svratka. Since 1519, the castle is listed as deserted. A massive three-story perimeter wall with clearly visible windows and loopholes, as well as the remains of the tower and ramparts, have been preserved to this day.
