Bweengduff has an elevation of about 416 metres (1365 feet) and its prominence is approximately 90 metres (295 feet). The large mast installation means that the summit has something of an industrial feel, but the clearing around them offers open views.

Fiddane Wood is a lovely spot to do a loop walk that is about 7-8 kilometres long. Parking is limited, but you can park here or on the other side at Fiddane Upper. There is quite a busy farm there, but on this side they are clearing the forest, so take your pick. The forest itself, however, makes for a great walk with nice woodland scenery.
