Very interesting object. Worth visiting in autumn because of the pumpkin farm.

The former Jesuit church of St. John. Originally a Renaissance structure, it has been rebuilt many times. It is now the oldest former Jesuit church in Poland. It's truly worth it—a beautiful sight.

The Sobieski Pine in Żołynia is an impressive natural monument and the thickest single-trunk Scots pine in Poland. Its trunk has a circumference of 442 cm and a height of up to 14.5 m. The tree is estimated to be around 250 years old, although some doubt this, pointing to comparisons with other ancient pines in the country. According to local legend, it was under this pine that Jan III Sobieski rested on his way to the relief of Vienna, which adds an additional charm to this place. It is worth cycling here and stopping for a moment by this extraordinary tree - it is an interesting place for lovers of history and nature.

The aforementioned soldier was a radio operator on a Halifax JP 224 aircraft that set off from Campo Casale air base in southern Italy towards occupied Poland on the evening of April 23, 1944. The purpose of the crew was to drop supplies for a Home Army outpost near Opole Lubelskie. During the flight, the aircraft malfunctioned and crashed near the village of Tarnogóra, north of Nowa Sarzyna. Just before the crash, the seven-person crew managed to evacuate the Halifax with the help of parachutes. Four of the pilots were rescued and hidden by local members of the Peasant Battalions, and two were captured by the Germans. Walter Davis landed the furthest from the crash site. Not knowing the terrain, he set off in search of help. He reached Wola Zarczycka, where he was taken over by Home Army soldiers from the Łańcut District. Communication between the British and the Poles was possible thanks to James Bloom. He was a fellow countryman of Davis and an escaped prisoner of war from a German camp, who was active in the local conspiracy under the pseudonym "Antek".
