Very nice place. The old town with the big market, the castle and the old walls around is always worth a trip. Also called the city of love.

The town hall in Chełmno - erected at the end of the 13th century, it was expanded in the years 1567-1572 and again in the period 1884-1887. One of the most valuable monuments of the Polish Renaissance, the building is currently the seat of the Museum of the Chełmno Land.

Incidentally, there are no ruins of socialism in the old town, at most from the Middle Ages. And apparently it was also spared from destruction in the Second World War. The closed old town center contains buildings that have been standing like this since the 19th century. In the meantime, they are being spruced up more and more. The main shopping street is currently being refurbished.

Chełmno City of lovers The city on 9 hills visible in the coat of arms. A city that was to be the capital of the Teutonic state. Attraction - St. Valentine's relic in the parish church 🙂
