A city park located in the central part of the city on both sides of the Skierniewka (Łupia) River. The beginnings of the park date back to the 14th century. Initially, it was a garden at the archbishops' manor. The park contained cascades, grottos, gazebos, four ponds and terraces on the river bank during the time of Archbishop Antoni Kazimierz Ostrowski. The Skierniewice park was beautified by Ignacy Krasicki, making it similar to the parks in Smolany. In the 18th century, there was an orangery with orange trees, an Italian garden, orchards and vineyards at the Primate's Palace. In the years 1830-1845, the gardens and park were thoroughly rebuilt, creating a landscape park.

The park is adjacent to some of the most important monuments of the city of Skierniewice: the Primate's Palace, the Palace Entrance Gate, and Villa Aleksandria. For almost a hundred years, the Skierniewice park was left to itself. The park was not modernized or improved. It was not until 2012 that a resolution was passed to restore the park's former glory, thanks to, among other things, financial support from the European Union. There was a band shell in the park (closed down in 2013). In place of the closed band shell, a chamber stage was built, which will be able to host, among other things, chamber concerts.

The "Rokita" reserve is a reserve whose main subject of protection is a fragment of the natural, deeply incised valley of the Rokita River with valuable forest communities. The "Rokita" nature reserve is located in the Skierniewice commune, in the Skierniewice district, on the area managed by the Skierniewice Forest District, the Ruda Forest District, as well as the lands of the State Treasury - the mouth section of the Rokita River. Its area is 14.47 ha, the buffer zone area: 58.18 ha. The Rokita River is a right-hand tributary of the Rawka and currently only periodically carries water, usually only in early spring, after thaws or after heavy, long-lasting rainfall. Most of the time, the valley, which in places reaches even 7 m in depth, remains dry. Water appears in its source section, where increased activity of the European beaver Castor fiber is observed.

The castle was built in the second half of the 14th century as the most southwestern stronghold of Mazovia, situated in the marshy forks of the Rawka and Rylka rivers, on an important trade route from Pomerania to Ruthenia. Thanks to King Sigismund Augustus, from 1569, the Rawka castle was used to deposit and store the quartz tax (established in 1563), collected from the starosty and crown lands, and intended for the Crown Army. From the 17th century, the castle fell into ruin. The destruction was initiated by the Swedish army during the "Deluge". Partial reconstruction in the second half of the 18th century by the Rawka starosta Franciszek Lanckoroński did not stop the process of decline. Its deliberate destruction, initiated during the Polish-Russian war at the end of the 18th century, was continued by the Prussians, who ruled the city at the turn of the 18th and 19th centuries. After World War II, conservation work began. In the years 1954-1958 the outline of the foundations was uncovered, a section of the curtain walls and the octagonal tower, which houses archaeological and historical exhibitions, were reconstructed.

The first station building was built in 1845, the second in 1873, in the English Gothic style with neoclassical interiors, to welcome the Tsar of Russia, who was visiting his residence near Skierniewice. The station building burned down in 1914, renovated according to the plans of Jan F. Heurich, and renovated between 1980 and 2003 in accordance with conservation requirements (plaster on the facades was removed, and the brickwork of the walls was exposed). On August 1, 1944, German Bahnschutz officers burned a wagon at the station containing the bodies of prisoners who had been suffocated during a transport from Pawiak. As it turned out, among the dead were also living people hiding among the dead, posing as corpses in hopes of avoiding transport to a concentration camp. A monument to Stanisław Wokulski, designed by Robert Sobociński, was erected on the platform in 2010.

At the crossroads on the bend, already within the Buda glade, stands a peculiar gray-blue roadside cross. Its base is a vertically placed, beautifully preserved cannon barrel with a lock! The cross with the figure of the Lord Jesus was placed in the muzzle of a German 88 mm cannon, the famous eighty-eight, one of the most effective weapons of World War II. In the place where it stands, in the winter of 1945, there was a German artillery position. At dawn on January 17 of that year, a Soviet tank destroyed the German cannon. The residents of Budy pulled the barrel out of the wreck and erected a roadside cross. It is not affected by corrosion, the cannon steel is of excellent quality.
