The Rokitnica River flows through Błonie and Rokitno in the Masovian Voivodeship. It is a left tributary of the Utrata River, into which it flows at Passa in the Błonie commune. The section flowing through Błonie is called Rokitnica Stara and is connected by a lock to the Rokitnica River in the village of Czubin. The river flows along the western edge of Milanówek, creating a wetland area – the Łęgi na Skraju ecological site.

The Monastery of Our Lady of the Rosary is the youngest of the three Dominican contemplative monasteries in Poland. The idea of establishing a new foundation was born among the nuns of the monastery in Święta Anna near Częstochowa, when the size of the community exceeded the housing capacity of the local building. The land for the construction of the new monastery in Radonie – approx. 40 km. south-west of Warsaw – was donated in 1989 by Mrs. Otylia Ranc, herself of the Evangelical-Augsburg faith. Construction began in 1990 and was completed in 2005.
