The five-domed Church of St. Peter and Paul, built in 1853 in the Byzantine-Russian style, features a magnificent gateway serving as a bell tower, added in 1873. A feature of the church is its historic iconostasis dating from 1836, dating twenty years earlier than the church itself.

The Orthodox Church of the Holy Wisdom of God in Białystok, built in 1998. Architecturally interesting, somewhat unusual for Orthodox churches in Podlasie, it is modeled on Byzantine churches from the early periods of Christianity. Richly decorated with frescoes by Greek artists, the work was directed by the painter Konstantinos Xenopoulos, and the polychrome in the dome itself is a gift from the Patriarchate of Constantinople.

Very atmospheric forest singletrack. I recommend it for a quick getaway when you don't have much time for a longer ride.

A very special place for me—I was baptized here. The Church of St. Piotra and Paul in Wasilków exudes a calm, spiritual atmosphere, which you immediately feel as soon as you enter the grounds. The architecture is impressive, with loving details and a beautiful iconostasis inside. For me, it's not just a place steeped in history, but also one full of personal significance. Anyone in the area should definitely make a detour—whether for cultural interest or for quiet contemplation.

In the jubilee year, votive crosses began to be placed on the hill next to the church, and today the "Hill of Crosses" with the Jubilee Pilgrims' Cross (25 m high) is inscribed in the landscape. The crosses blessed by John Paul II on March 6 and October 4, 2000 in the Vatican are located in the church. In 2003, on the 25th anniversary of John Paul II's pontificate, during the Second Bicycle Pilgrimage to Rome, a group of pilgrims gave the Holy Father a miniature of the Świętowodzka grotto. In the following years, the parish organizer, Fr. A. Butwiłowski, renovated the church and built a rectory and the Pilgrim's House - the Pilgrimage and Tourist Center. On April 14, 2013, the Smolensk Cross dedicated to the victims of the Polish Tu-154M crash in Smolensk was unveiled on the Hill of Three Crosses.

The forest is very pleasant. A lot of paths with a few roots, quite even. Good place for running.

A beautiful forest and a lot of interesting single track, complicated and straight, with and without hills. For color and choice. Pietrasze Forest is also close, where Paweł H. marked a lot of interesting MTB routes. It's worth riding in both and choosing your favorite routes.
