On the outskirts of Czarna Białostocka, nestled in a forest clearing, lies the Czapielówka Reservoir. A ten-year project completed in 1981, it is now one of the town's main attractions. Its location in the Knyszyńska Forest guarantees peace, natural beauty, and tranquility. Several access points to the water are available, including a safe swimming area by the pier, which is monitored by lifeguards during the summer. We recommend hiking or cycling along the reservoir's shoreline. A stroll along the picturesque path, sometimes through the forest, sometimes by the water's edge, offers charming bridges and the surrounding nature, providing a welcome escape from the hustle and bustle of the city. https://wielkilas.pl/miejsca/zalew-czapielowka/

A new reservoir in the town of Knyszyn. It was built in the summer of 2025. Near the reservoir is an alley with benches and deckchairs, and a pier to the island.

Good quality gravel with nice forests around. Just a bit bumpy and hilly sometimes but overall quick. Minimum 35mm tyres recommended.

Beautiful carved chapel on the edge of the forest. The surroundings look like a forest parking lot but there is no such sign. A really nice chapel.
