The first spa house was built in 1824 by Jean Georg Haffner. The building has been rebuilt or renovated several times over the years; the current building is the fourth construction at this location. It is located directly at the head of the famous, long pier of Sopot. It is NOT the Grand Hotel, which most pictures show.
