Small Dam in Wisła Nowa Osada For clarity – this place is located about 4.5 kilometers downstream from the large earthen dam forming the Czerniańskie Lake. Waterfall: It is an artificial weir 8 meters high, built on the Wisełka stream in the 1950s. Fish passages: Characteristic concrete steps and walkways visible just below the main cascade. They allow fish (mainly trout) to migrate upstream. Building on the left: This is a historic wooden-and-brick inn "Drewutnia" (originally from 1833), where tourists can eat traditional Beskid dishes.

Cosmetic straight from nature: Brine works wonders not only for the lungs, but also for the skin. It has a strong anti-inflammatory, antibacterial, and antifungal effect. It moisturizes the epidermis, relieves symptoms of skin allergies, and accelerates regeneration. In Ustronie, special local lines of spa cosmetics are even produced based on it. Relief for muscles and joints: Deep-sea minerals penetrate through the respiratory tract and skin, effectively reducing muscle tension, alleviating rheumatic pain, and aiding relaxation after a hard day.

The Municipal Brine Graduation Tower in the Health Resort Park is a unique place on the map of Ustroń, where modern architecture meets spa tradition. The microclimate around the graduation tower is created by Devonian medicinal water, drawn from a depth of over 1700 meters. This natural brine, with a mineral concentration unique in Europe (approx. 12.5%), has an official certificate from the National Institute of Public Health PZH. Inhalations of the aerosol, rich in iodine and bromine, cleanse the respiratory tract, strengthen immunity, and bring deep relaxation to the sound of flowing water.

I would like to offer the pilgrim pausing before this magnificent, small sacred monument, Pope Leo XIV's welcoming words as a brief meditation. Immediately after his election, before he bestowed the traditional blessing "urbi et orbi" (to the city and the world) on the waiting faithful, he addressed the people gathered in St. Peter's Square, as well as those participating via radio, television, and the internet, with these moving words: + "Peace be with you all! Dear brothers and sisters, this is the first greeting of the Risen Christ, the Good Shepherd... I too desire that this greeting of peace enter your hearts, reach your families, all people, wherever they are, all nations, the whole earth. Peace be with you! This is the peace of the Risen Christ, an unarmed and disarming peace, humble and persevering. It comes from God, the God who loves us all unconditionally." (Robert Francis Prevost / Pope Leo XIV)
