The current church was built in 1459 - this date is engraved on the joist - and is the oldest wooden church in Poland, the dating of which is considered reliable. In the middle of the 16th Renovations were carried out at the turn of the century. "When the church in Zborówek proved to be too narrow, on April 15, 1906, the parishioners decided to build a new church," writes Father Wisniewski. Fortunately, the old one was not destroyed during the construction of the new church. The church is built of logs , stands on a stone foundation and is reinforced on both sides with bars. The interior of the church is polychromed. There is a horizontal 'barrel vault' over the choir and a flat faceted ceiling over the central part of the nave. The furnishings include many old objects, such as a late Gothic crucifix and a triptych from the same era. The bell tower was built in the 19th century and consists of a timber frame construction (source: information board on site).
