The Leszno Water Tower was built in 1908 as part of the city's modern water supply system. It was built as part of the development of urban infrastructure in the early 20th century, when Leszno belonged to the German Empire. Built in the Art Nouveau-industrial style, it stands approximately 30 meters high. In the 17th century, it was a court chapel, and in 1741, Andrzej Mielżyński added a northern chapel dedicated to the Sacred Heart of Jesus. Around 1770–1771, a southern chapel was added. Over the centuries, the church expanded, and the origins of its current form date back to the early 20th century. The Baroque-style building has a hall-like layout on a rectangular plan, with a Baroque tower topped with a dome from 1772.
