The Pyrzyce Gate is one of the most valuable monuments in Stargard and one of the four historical entrance gates that have survived to this day. The object is located on Mieszko I street and is an integral part of the city's powerful, medieval defensive system. In 2010, together with the Cathedral of the Blessed Virgin Mary and the remaining city walls, it was officially recognized as a Monument of History by the President of the Republic of Poland. The base, measuring 11 x 11 meters, was built in the 13th century from field stones, and the upper floors were erected in the 15th century from red brick. the central element of the gate, where a heavy, forged, lifting portcullis once blocked the entrance. The structure is closed by two decorative gables connected by a gable roof. The facades are covered with numerous niches in lancet, semicircular, and circular shapes.
