Everything on asphalt with a pleasant incline and all in the forest. Simply brilliant for cycling. Should be for bicycles.🙈🚴♂️

Since 2026, a section has been laid with cobblestones. Not modern concrete paving, but really nasty cobblestones. Why would you do that? Borderline with a road bike. Luckily, only a short section.

There is practically no reason to ride on the federal highway instead. Here you have your peace, avoid the stress in the curves without the possibility of overtaking, and also save a few vertical meters compared to the hump at the old train station. Even at night, without traffic, I prefer to ride here. Update August 2026: At the old municipal depot, the once good asphalt has been replaced by milled cobblestones for approx. 100m after underground work. Why? Nobody knows. It's annoying even with the gravel now - but the federal highway is also annoying at the Ölanderle, unfortunately

The Wurmlinger Kapelle is visible from afar. Whether from the Ammertal or from the Hirschauer Baggerseen, it looks good from all sides.

Probably the most beautiful part on the Ammer. From St. Stephanus Church to Poltring Water Castle. Whether horses, llamas or water rats, everything frolics here
