It's definitely worth stopping here, and even taking a break. Unfortunately, the church is often closed, and the "fortress" next to it is also inaccessible.

Small cafe bar - Bar da Praia Fábrica - and the option to take a small boat ride to Praia da Fábrica. A very relaxing place!

The landscape is part of the Ria Farmosa. The Chameleon Trail also leads right past this charming little village. So always be careful 🤗

Fabrica is a quiet, forgotten, charming little village, a former brickworks. However, you can no longer see anything of it, as a large house was built over the old brickworks. Only the foundations can be partially viewed. Above the village you have a fantastic view over the Ria Farmosa to the sea. This small village is beautiful and very idyllic!
