Super fresh feeling hits you inside the tunnel even at summer.

Completely paved (except for the last 5 meters on the Croatian side). You can ride up here in peace and quiet, without the traffic jams at the border crossing, if you accept the 20 meters of elevation gain. At the top left (200-400 meters) there's a gas station and a shop for provisions. Also suitable for road bikes! I've ridden this section four times so far and I certainly won't ride on the regular road again (unless there's no tourist traffic).

For me, this is one of the most beautiful stretches of cycle path I know—also suitable for road cyclists. Simply beautiful!

Piran, Slovenia's most beautiful coastal town, owes its development to its traditional salt pans, where high-quality salt is still harvested today. The town impresses with its medieval ring wall, church, and numerous cultural attractions.

The 6.5-kilometer waterfront promenade runs to the neighboring town of Izola. A beautiful route...worth doing.

Long and quite challenging climb, about 10km for 440m of altitude difference and several sections with double-digit gradients, few places to catch your breath. Great views and almost always in the sun, not recommended in summer.
