Church of St. Marjete stands on top of a hill, in the village of Golo in the municipality of Ig. The building is late baroque, built in the 19th century and was declared a cultural and historical monument in 1997 by decree of the municipal council. The archaeological area around the church was also declared a monument. The finds around the church belong to the prehistoric Hallstatt era. In 1975, they found pieces of pottery, iron slag, and household ornaments. Before that, in 1865, a skeletal grave belonging to the same prehistoric era was also excavated. The church in this place is first mentioned in written sources in 1631, but it is the predecessor of today's church. In 1820, the current baroque church was built on the same spot. The church is built entirely of stone.

The famous Slovenian hiking guidebook writer and skiing pioneer Rudolf Badjura proclaimed that Krim boasts the finest vista of Ljubljana. This, along with views towards the mighty Julian Alps, the Karawanks and the Kamnik-Savinja Alps, make the peak a popular objective. Planinska koča na Krimu, the summit's mountain hut, serves great local food too.

In 2022, a reconstruction of the Koliščar village was built in the Municipality of Ig, in which the life of the Koliščar people in the third millennium BC is presented. Kr. It was created as part of the project Interpretation of Biodiversity and Heritage of Piles on the Ljubljana Marshes (acronym Na-kolih), which was led by the Municipality of Ig. The purpose of the project was to show the richness, variety and importance of the natural and cultural heritage of Koliščar in the Ljubljana Marshes. This is how Morostig was born - House of nature and piles, which covers three locations. A new interpretation center was built in the center of Iga, which exhibits content about the first botanical and archaeological research on the Ljubljana Marsh, the history and method of researching this heritage over time, an overview of the pile-dwelling culture, the biotic diversity of the Ljubljana Marsh, and the international protection of this heritage.
