Veliki Rogatec or Veliki Rogac, also Dead Monk is a lookout mountain that rises steeply above the Podvolovljek valley. From the top where the cross stands and the bell of desire stands on it, there is a beautiful view of the neighboring Lepenatka, the nearby Kranjska reber and Velika planina, and the central Kamnik-Savinja Alps, where the Ojstrica stands out.

Beautiful circular path (up the climbing path), real beautiful views (this time unfortunately not - clouds and rain). Access to the starting point is slightly complicated

The peak, with its highest peak of 2126 m above sea level, called Kordez's Head, offers a stunning 360 ° panorama of the near and far surroundings. Wonderful.👌

From the hut on pl. Grohat (1460m) leads to the top of Raduha, which, when accessed under the northern wall of Raduha (Macesnovec), divides left into easily accessible (via Durce) or. to the right, indicated by the "Very Difficult" path. It is nicely marked, secured in places if necessary, and offers us its wild ravines of the western steep part of Raduha and beautiful views from south to northwest. Nevertheless, caution and care along the way will not be superfluous. From the cottage on Grohat we will need approx. 1h 50min. The very top of Raduha (2026m) serves us with 360 ° beautiful views of the whole near and far surroundings. Great.

Grohat Mountain and the hut of the same name under Raduha (1460m) to where you can reach the parking place at the Bukovnik farm via an easy forest path in about 30 min. However, we can do this upon our return, insofar as we intend to go to the top of Raduha, to which hut leads a path that splits under the northern wall of Raduha to an easily accessible path (left) across Durce and right - demanding, which is served to us with partially secured and partly exposed path from which we have beautiful views to the west. Open June - September. On the weekends of May and October. Nice.
